My mom hung onto that card for years after the leaves and flower dried up and told me once that she had loved that card so much.
http://paruscardmakingchallenges.blogspot.in).And was intrigued. But with a toddler to look after, time to craft is really scarce. But February is special. I had to make a card for my hubby and Paru's challenge was to use scraps. Perfect considering most of my paper collection is old wedding invitations. So here is my submission for the challenge.
I used the scraps from the wedding invitations shown below.
And came up with this.
I used an ordinary office punch to make holes on a piece of the brown card and layered it onto a scrap of cream card. The heart inside the shaker and the bee are puffy stickers. The cute cat sticker turned out to be translucent. So I stuck it on a piece of cream card scrap and fussy cut it. It's the first time I made a shaker card and I am quite pleased with how it turned out.
And the hubby loved it ;-).
